About Gifts N Hampers

There’s a moment, just before you open a gift, when you can’t help but wonder — what’s inside?

That little rush of excitement. The anticipation. And then, when the gift is just right, the moment your face lights up and you think, “Oh wow… this is so me.”

I’ve loved that feeling for as long as I can remember.

As a child, gifts were one of the most exciting parts of any celebration for me. Birthdays, festivals, parties — I loved the anticipation of receiving them and, just as much, the excitement of choosing something for someone else. Somehow, a gift had the power to make an already special occasion feel even more special.

I never really grew out of that feeling.
That is the feeling I want to recreate through Gifts N Hampers.

When you trust someone else to create a gift for a person you care about, you’re trusting them with more than a hamper. You’re trusting them to create a moment.

So we start with questions, not products. Who is receiving it? What do they love? What does the occasion mean to them? What’s the budget and timing? And above all, how do you want them to feel when they open it?

The idea for Gifts N Hampers took shape when my daughter, Aaira, was born. We received cash, vouchers and many generous gifts, and I was grateful for every one. Yet I remember thinking, “None of this feels like it was made for me.”

That thought stayed with me because I realised that the gifts we remember most aren’t necessarily the most expensive. They’re the ones that make us feel seen. The ones that quietly say, someone really thought about me.

Gifts N Hampers began with baby hampers, each created around the baby and family — colours, themes, age-appropriate clothing, personalised names, beautiful keepsakes, practical pieces and something thoughtful for Mum and Dad too.

And then came my favourite part — seeing the reactions. The smiles, the surprise, the sparkle in someone’s eyes and that spontaneous “Oh wow!” when they discovered something chosen especially for them.

Almost four years on, we now create customised hampers for Diwali, Rakhi, Christmas, birthdays, corporate gifting and the many moments in life worth celebrating.

Whatever the occasion, the thought behind it remains the same. A Diwali hamper should feel connected to the festival. A Rakhi gift should feel personal to the relationship. A corporate gift should make someone feel genuinely valued, rather than simply included on a gifting list.
